This moon in the water sign Scorpio is the most positive full moon of 2020. It puts us into connection with unseen intelligences.
Create Your New Life
If you have felt stalled or uninspired, this moon wants to help you envision a better future. To enable you to tease into creation the objectives and actions that will help you manifest it.
Your moment to rise to the occasion and ‘see’ your truth that is yearning to become visible.
Which is why the energy of this full moon represents that of a foetus in the womb, or a caterpillar dissolving inside a cocoon. Something new is forming, yet something else has to first die.
This process of transformation and transmutation allows life to continue by creating new forms as old ones are released.
Hence, what in your world are you acknowledging to make way for the new?
In numerology May is a 9 universal month, meaning the end of a cycle. We are being asked to build the structure of a solid foundation for our future. The only obstacle is the belief you cannot move through the mental sabotage it creates.
Doing so requires you to address your boundaries. Breaking down the distractions connected to your past and setting new ones around the dreams for your world.
This three-stage process will help in its creation:
1. Identify the story you keep repeating which makes you look back into the world of your past? What are you dwelling on that has been distracting you?
2. Recognise what have you learned from this story? What new or deeper desire has been created for you as a result?
3. Imagine this new desire in a form which attracts you to move towards your new world. Vision yourself doing so each morning until the next full moon.
Allow a word or phrase to emerge which you can use to describe the new desire.
Reset, Renewal And Revitalisation
Which is why the Scorpio full moon embraces the mystery of death and re-birth. It will help you stay on your path and progress along it.
Uranus, Mercury, and the Sun are all in Taurus, the sign of stability and making sense. So there is a need for safety and routine. Should the call rise to be in a quiet and safe space, do so.
Allow yourself to simply “be” during this revolution in your world. It is in that quiet you consolidate the step you have just made.
Power emerges from being vulnerable, which requires safety and trust to be present. Be in places with people you trust, then you can heal and transform in unexpectedly deep ways.
For we are at a point of reset, renewal, and revitalisation. This full moon with the Sun in Taurus helps us feel deeper emotional security.
This will help many who are experiencing for the first time the “Dark Night of the Soul”. Others are adjusting to a greater depth of presence as they embody a higher level of awareness and connection.
Often this seems to be accompanied by waves of boredom, exhaustion, emptiness and fatigue. Do not expect in these uncertain conditions to be able to do as much as you would “normally”.
A process of building your psychic endurance is underway. The purpose being to enable your being to be fully aware of its unlimited potential and power. This is essential to help Mother Earth complete the shifts underway.
Should your ego begin to connect to this process, it may be sensed as grief, guilt, shame, depression, and various waves of anxiety, loneliness, and fear.
As a way of responding to others, the instinctive reaction to such an unconscious emotional threat will be fight, flight, freeze or flee.
Exercise Your Choice To…
The Scorpio full moon is asking you to surrender to a call from Spirit.
Two days before the full moon, the nodes of our moon switched signs – the North from Cancer to Gemini, and the South from Capricorn to Sagittarius. The lunar nodes switch signs every 18 months or so. The last Gemini and Sagittarius configuration began in October 2011, just after 9/11.
The South node represents your karmic baggage and lessons from your cosmic past. The North the lessons you seek to learn in this life, even though they may fall far outside your present comfort zone.
The recommended approach for this 18 months is to start by Believing Nothing. No matter how reputable the source may have been for you – be it governments, health organisations or people trying to save the world.
Once applied you will have a new foundation to re-build your insights or experiences of the community of the world.
Both Gemini and Sagittarius are associated with teaching. So if you have something inside you believe can help others, this period is the moment to make the video, a podcast etc..
The Wesak full moon embodies compassion and kindness. Remember this as the planets awaken you to the facts of exactly why you are in the position you are in…
…and that you have the choice to make the change. Each of us has the power to shape our world and so the matrix of this world.
Which is why Pluto, Lord of the Underworld and ruler of the full moon recently stationed retrograde for a near six month journey of deep soul searching. Its purpose to make us face our shadows. To see those parts of ourselves we normally keep hidden. Accepting them will bring freedom and liberation.
Allow Your Creative Abilities To…
Wait for signs and signals marking the shift has begun. Then take inspired action after going within for direction.
In addition to deep emotional security, the Sun in Taurus brings a flow of money owed to you.
11th May Saturn, the Lord of Karma, goes retrograde. Its focus is your responsibilities, particularly your duties as they relate to your dependents and career.
From 11th to 28th May Mercury returns home to Gemini. Sending out a clear signal to learn or grasp new concepts. Which makes these two weeks an excellent period for writing, including marketing copy, your way. Being authentically alive in your communication.

Then on the 13th the next of May´s four retrogrades begins. Venus is asking us to reflect on our values. It also initiates a shift in cultural values. The question is whether your purpose is to “add” value or “harvest” it?
During 2020 every single planet in our solar system goes retrograde. Hence why every aspect of our lives, personal and global will be re-evaluated. This will be through our internal processes, for which we must first find our peace.
Venus is pushing you to re-evaluate your self-worth so you can value yourself more. Building a foundation of self-esteem to allow you to receive more love, appreciation and money.
For six weeks from also the 13th, Aries shifts into Pisces. Changing the tone of action taking to being on demand. Stating it another way, learning to be called into action rather than triggered to act. My suggestion is to allow new ideas to form about acting in connection with value and values, forging new habits.
A New Understanding
The next day Jupiter goes retrograde in Capricorn to help us create a new understanding of expansion and growth. Its call is to re-evaluate what they mean in relation to building society around making money. The call will be to re-define success before going direct in September.
For those with an approach which aligns with their values, this could be a time of growth!
Two days before the new moon on 22nd May, begins a month when we will become more curious, sociable, compelled to communicate in ways that connect us. We will be more open to new experiences and dreams. Especially those grounded in the material world.
