Humanity is at a fork, each of us has to choose which path to take
Radical change is the call as we move from the new moon in Aquarius on the 11th to the first of the three influential Saturn and Uranus transits of the year. This takes place on 17th February.
Uranus is the planet of revolution, Saturn the planet of structure.
They are akin to an irrepressible force (Uranus) meeting an immovable object – Saturn.
The Pot Of Your Life Is About To Be Vigorously Stirred
One way you can use this energy to guide your decisions is by asking these questions:
“Is what I’m implementing in my life at this moment going to create sustainable growth which is aligned with my soul´s desires?”
“What changes do I need to make in my life that will create something truly wonderful for me?”
The theme for 2021 is the “old versus new”. The unprecedented sun and moon joining Venus, Mercury retrograde, Jupiter and Saturn at the new moon opened the 11th portal of presence. Inviting us all to freely explore and take risks, rather than be caught in the web of the past or be afraid of what the future might bring.
Aquarius as the sign of freedom is uniting us collectively as one big human family whilst honouring each of us as unique individuals.
The intention of the 17th is to completely smash your existing vision for 2021. It wants you to be ready to dream and act bigger – to make radical change.
The following squares between Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus are on 14th June and 24th December. They last formed a 90º angle in 2000 – the year the dot.com bubble started to burst.
As I have written before, the financial sector will experience rapid transformation throughout 2021. With both the oldest and newest markets, real estate and cryptocurrency, being the most volatile.
Do not be surprised if your relationship with money and material objects changes rapidly over these next 12 months.
Uranus is the planet associated with innovation, progress, karma and revolution. Governing everything from technology and medicine to earthquakes and astrology. Uranian energy is volatile, shocking, and electric, so whenever this powerful planet is activated, everything will rock.
Expect Radical Change
Progressive Uranus moved into steady, reliable, and traditional Taurus in 2018. Indicating there will massive changes involving currency, consumption, and the environment underway until 2026. Conversations around these have already begun to escalate.
Uranus´ square with Jupiter in the middle of January has already begun to create sweeping breakthroughs in technology, medicine, and government. On the other hand Uranus in Taurus is not willing to welcome fast-paced change. This will create a push me pull you impact on society as some embrace innovation whilst others cling to tradition – “old versus new”.
Especially this month the same conflict will be evident in your personal life.
Which is why what you initiate in February will determine the nature of your life in 2021 and beyond. Radical change is where wealth and security are to be found, not in what was!
Aquarius is a Saturn-ruled sign, so commitments you make now can last for a lifetime. Try not to overthink your choices or be freaked out by the enormity of what appears!
Life will work out as it needs to—just keep your connection open.
Mercury goes direct on 21st February, though the retrograde shadow lasts to 13th March.
Until 25th February Venus in Aquarius will be nudging you to make adjustments. Ones that truly allow you to express your individuality within your relationships.
Jupiter is in Aquarius for the rest of 2021 so continuing to create major upheaval. Saturn will not leave it for another two years. Which is just about when Pluto, the transformer, enters Aquarius in March 2023. Staying there until 2044!
Hence in my view the “new normal” is radical change rather than another version of what was.
Message From Source
The latest Message from Source provides a much broader perspective of the radical change underway:
“Know that the progress being made by humanity is bringing with it many questions as to what is the purpose, how can this be happening? This is only the beginning of the changes which have been initiated. The direction though is beginning to emerge, even if the final destination is yet to become clear. Know there is no end game, all is evolving as it always has.
Which is why humanity will have many choices to make as it travels a path of evolution. This in itself is not finite. For how may it be when all of Creation is evolving. View each staging post as that, not the end.
The key choice facing you all is the very form of what it is to be human. This is where the most deep seated of choices will be made. Being connected to Source and so each other. This is going to challenge many as to how they desire to be and live their life. The choices made will then determine more than subsequent generations. They will determine whether the soul chooses to re-incarnate on Earth. For each soul is always seeking unfettered evolution. If this is not always possible then the soul will choose to seek this elsewhere.
It is for this reason the choices made will impact way beyond this life. The essence will be to influence the very direction of all of Creation.
This is the ultimate challenge all face.”
The call of the current Aquarian energy is therefore to the heart and soul of humanity.
It is providing the birth of an evolution.
The opportunity for us to rise up to co-create with Nature.
Imagine The World You Desire
February 1962 was the previous occasion when the sun and moon, in Jupiter, were joined by a stellium of six other planets in Aquarius. Its new moon solar eclipse opened the door to the social and cultural changes of the turbulent 1960’s.
Bringing “counter-culture”, new music, exploration of Eastern philosophies and meditation, the Vietnam war – and technology that landed a man on the moon in 1969. February 1962 “just happened to be” the month which launched the Beatles in the form we know them.
The radical change of that eclipse and the stellium similar to that on the 17th had a marked impact for several generations.
The worldwide events of these first few weeks of 2021 have called forth the heart of humanity. The social fabric is already disintegrating before our very eyes. It is our choice whether or not it re-emerges in a more expanded and enlightened form.
The shadow of the Aquarian age is the misuse and abuse of science. Being aware of this provides the opportunity for each of us to create the freedom Aquarius seeks. Expressing the uniqueness of the beauty of the human spirit.
Following the guidance of our connection and our hearts.
Hence my suggestion to imagine the world you want to live in, even if you have no thought as to how it can happen. By doing so, you are inviting in the lightning bolts of insight and clarity that can help light the way to create it.
Humanity is at a fork in the road. Each of us has to choose which path we take during this period of radical change.
One path leads to organic connection – telepathy, empathy, compassion.
The other is technology-assisted connection – brain implants, AI, artificial reality.
Choose Your Path And Then Share
And which path we take is determined by our collective decisions.
Every choice matters.
Your choice matters.
My suggestion is you use the daily spiritual practice I set out in Now Is The Moment To Move Your Life From Reaction To Evolution to establish connection. Part is reproduced below:
Daily Action:
- As you are creating connection for the day ahead, ideally the practice is completed before you “start the day”.
- One effective practice is to sit in silence in Nature or in front of your altar for 5-10 minutes a day. Your altar is simply something you place items on that are meaningful to you.
- When commuting I used my walk to and from the railway station to practice mindfulness. There is something about moving that helps to settle our minds so that we can more effectively be present. Ideally this “silent meditation” is in Nature.
- Meditation. Ideally use a simple meditation technique focused on the breath, followed by pranayama (breath work) and a chakra blessing. Keep it very gentle and mindful.
- At each end of your day express your gratitude for what is about to transpire or has done.
Your spiritual practice is your power. It will help bring calm, self-care, kindness and love of others into your life. You can learn more about the importance of connection here:
Physical symptoms of a poor or non-existent connection include poor co-ordination, chronic tension headaches and exhaustion.
The full moon in Virgo on 27th February will seek to extricate our souls from the impression of not feeling free to move and explore the beauty surrounding us at this moment. Virgo is a sign of personal transformation.
We are being invited to gain greater clarity as to our direction. To surround ourselves with what truly inspires us.
To let go our attachment to whatever is instilling fear or worry. Rather to allow beauty to infuse our soul.
